CopperBridge Foundation Associates Attend Luncheon and Award Ceremony for HEROS OF THE HEMISPHERE 10-17-10

The Gala took place on the luxury Celebrity Cruise ship ‘Solstice’ on October 17, 2010 - 2011. Geo Darder and CopperBridge staff and benefactors were in attendance. Beautifully orchestrated by the Pan American Development Foundation, the Master of Ceremonies presented awards to the unsung heros who were the day’s honoree’s. Though too “modest to describe themselves as heros . Nonetheless, they are.”

CopperBridge Foundation proudly presents their first cultural exchange - SHARED VISIONS

Uneven and various, the pieces of eight works by the eight Cuban artists exhibited for the first time in North Miami at the CopperGallery offers a rare opportunity to see a kind of grass roots exploration of va-rious interpretations of form and content from both the hidden jewel and forbidden Paradise otherwise known as Cuba. Except for a few instances, the works are apolitical explorations of personal sensibilities and imagination.

On Tuesday, July, 20 2010 - 2011 from 7pm to 11pm Brigitte Britton and Lucia Kaiser, hosted an Official Launch & Fundraiser in honor of Geo Darder, founder of the CopperBridge Foundation. The rousing get-together took place in the eclectically appointed home of Lucia Kaiser, a nutritionist who has a health shake coming to market.

The menu consisted of authentic renditions of traditional Cuban cuisine that included savory Coconut Chicken complemented by a choice of either spicey pork with fresh papaya salad or a colorful riot of bright tropical beans, red peppers, rice and juicy mangos.
